Fashion beyond size

Nyaari Plus began with a simple, stubborn question: why should a plus-size woman settle for whatever fits, instead of choosing what she loves? For years the answer in Indian fashion was silence — gorgeous kurta sets and sarees stopped at a size, and everything beyond it was an afterthought stitched from the same pattern, only bigger.

So we started at the other end. Every Nyaari Plus pattern is drafted on plus-size bodies from the first sketch: deeper armholes, generous sleeves, waistlines placed where they actually sit, side seams that skim instead of grip. Sizes run from XL to 8XL, and each one is a real fit, not a scaled-up guess.

Fabric matters just as much. We choose breathable cottons, soft rayons, chanderi and georgette that behave in Indian heat, hold their drape through long days and survive being worn again and again. Our pieces are made in small batches by tailors we know, with finishes we would happily wear ourselves.

"Fashion beyond size" is our fit standard, not a slogan. It means you get to pick the colour you love, the embroidery that makes you smile, the silhouette you have always been told to avoid. It means traditional Indian wear that celebrates you exactly as you are — with confidence, comfort and craft in equal measure.
